Due to the fact that from Indren there will only be a “pole line”, is it necessary to be equipped with “ARTVA, shovel and probe”, even if we follow the poles?
The offpiste track that will be signed among the up station and Alpe Gabiet, will develop itself on the less difficult and risky itinerary. This itinerary will be checked every day, according to the lift running, we will of course clear up the area when the avalanche risk will be high, but it is evident that it will be really impossible to guarantee the same security we can give on a groomed slope. It is about a mountain area, reserved to those people aware of the risks that this means, that have to be face with the right psychophysical preparation and an adequate equipment. We do reckon that having ARTVA, shovel and probe will be a responsible behaviour even for those who will “simply” follow the offpiste signed track.
Are there insurances for the skiers?
Monterosa Ski skiers have some insurance formula at their disposal. You can ask for them directly at the counters and have variable validity, according to the skiers’ need.
What documents are needed in order to get discounted ski passes?
Discounted rates for the age are given on both Monterosa Ski and Aosta Valley passes and specificaly on daily, morning, afternoon passes, 2-day passes, several and consecutive-day passes and season passes.
In order to give the discount to the kid, the youngster or to the over 65 person, it is necessary to show an identity document which proves the date of birth of the person and therefore the counter crew will be authorized to issue a discounted ticket.
As identity document we mean fiscal code, passport, health card, but also (in case of under 18 kids) the birth certificate valid for foreign travel and the inscription on the parents’ passport. We do accept copies, as far as they can be clearly read.
The document will be checked from the counter crew, they won’t make any copy and it won’t be kept any further. It will immediately be given back.
What rules must know and follow the person who buys a ski pass?
Those who purchase a ski pass have to know the Monterosa Ski Ticket Office Regulation, where you can find all the conditions to correctly use your ticket with no risk of bad surprises.
This regulation is available online on this website.
