Funifor Opening Ceremony

Big day for the Opening Ceremony of the Funifor Passo dei Salati.Indren, a new lift that starts from 2.970 metres of Passo dei Salati and reaches 3.275 metres of the Indren Glaciers in less than 5 minutes. On Friday, November 26^th, for this great occasion, Monterosa Ski has organized a special day, Walser Night, whose name comes from the ancient culture of the Gressoney Valley.

Monterosa Ski at Photoshow 2010

Monterosa Ski protagonist of the 11^th edition of Photoshow, the most important Italian event dedicated to digital imaging: the Alps' domain skiable went to Rome, together with other 300 exhibitors of the most important societies in the field of photography.

BIG SUCCESS IN NUMBER OF PEOPLE FOR THE FIFA WORLD CUP IN CHAMPOLUC

Many people and many spectacular moments for a day when the sun too gave its contribution: FIFA World Cup has arrived in Ayas, Monterosa Ski skiing resort, and offered a World Championship atmosphere in advance. Before leaving to go to South Africa, on Sunday March 28^th it reached one of the highest point ever reached in Italy: a group of athletes brought it from Champoluc up to Monte Rosa.

On Friday, March 5th 2010 fabulous evening for the inauguration of the funicular Frachey-Alpe Ciarcerio.
Many atractions: ability demonstrations with snow cats of the Monterosa SKi fleet, appealing torch-light procession with the ski instructors of the Champoluc Ski School, fantastic night show of the freestylers with skis and snowboards of the "Jägermeister Vertical Tour" and last but not least, great show with music fireworks!

Funicular Frachey-Alpe Ciarcerio

New! Funicular Frachey: the new train for the ski... 2 minutes and 33 seconds for 180 kilometres of slopes!
The new lift Frachey-Alpe Ciarcerio replaces the historical two-seat chairlift that has been in service from 1978 and represents the first Aosta Valley funicular for the ski with 2 cabins that carry 110 people each, for an hour capacity of 1500 p/h.
