A.First of all, reductions and promotions are not combinable. Children born after 31/10/2008 get the ski pass for free if it is bought together with a paying adult. For kids born after 31/10/2002 there are interesting reductions all over the Aosta Valley. Teen Rate: for the skiers aged 14-18 (born after 31/10/1998)all the ski pass of the Monterosa Ski group are available at a reduced price. Is back by popular demand the Over 65 deal (born before 31/05/1952)also on Saturdays and Sundays. The ticket is always free of charge for skiers born before 01/11/1936. We suggest to have a look at the promotion available at the moment on our website www.monterosa-ski.com, ski pass area. In order to get access to the reduction it is necessary to show an identity document at our counter, otherwise the ticket will be emitted at full price. Any auto certification is not accepted.

Q. Is a ticket for beginners available?

A. Yes: for the beginners is available a ticket at a reduced price that includes the ski lift and the tapis roulant.

Q. Which are the ski pass recognized by the Teleskipass?

A. Daily, morning and afternoon ski pass. Return tickets and tickets for beginners are not recognized.

Q. Which is the validity of the morning and afternoon ski pass?

A. The validity of the morning pass ends at 1.00 pm while the validity of the afternoon pass starts at midday.

Q. Does the card of the daily pass is in caution?

A. Yes, the ski pass is charged on a keycard with a caution of € 5,00. This card is chargeable several times and must be returned at any Aosta Valley counter by the end of the season, otherwise the deposit is not refunded.

Q. Are dogs allowed on the lifts? If yes, is there any special ticket to buy?

A. Yes, dogs are allowed on the lifts but leash and muzzle are compulsory. They travel for free but the boarding is regulated by the responsible of the lift in order to protect passengers and animals. It is strictly forbidden to pass on slopes with dogs.

Q. Which are the services covered by the insurance?

Q. Are there any bars and restaurants on the slopes?

A. No, on the slopes in Estoul-Palasinaz there aren’t bars and restaurants, but only a bed and breakfast. Instead, at the lifts departure are available bars, restaurants and another bed and breakfast. We suggest to have a look at the pdf  available on our website in which you can find a complete list of the bars and restaurants and their location.

Q. Are there any particular discounts for undergraduates?

A. Yes, of course. Undergraduates who respond to the requirements can buy the ski pass at a special price. In order to have access to the discount it is necessary to show at the counters the University Pass. The University Card is valid in all the Aosta Valley ski resorts: it costs € 5,00 and it is possible to require it directly at the counters. The documents to be shown in order to get the University Card are: an identity document, a photo and a document which certify the university enrollment (Certification of the enrollment to the current academic year or, as an alternative, the original receipt of the payment of the university tax for the current year. Q. It is possible to buy a return ticket for the chair lift?

A. The return ticket is available only for the chair lift Estoul-Palasinaz. At the arrival of the lift there are any bars and restaurants, it is only possible to proceed for mountain excursions. It is not possible to stand on the slope.

Q. Is it possible to enter the Snow Park with the daily pass?

A. No, it is not possible. To enter the Snow Park it is necessary to buy the related ticket. If the kid uses the equipment accompanied by a parent, the adult doesn’t pay since he is a helper. The ticket includes the use of the tapis roulant, the equipment for the descent and the inflatable games for the yougest.

Q. What happens if I lose my ski pass?

A. In case of loss or theft of Seasonal or Annual passes the client must inform immediately the responsible of the counter. To get a copy of the pass it is necessary to show an auto declaration of loss/theft (to this purpose a specific form is available at the counters) and the copy of the delivery of the original pass which is released by the counters at the moment of the purchase. It is required to pay € 20,00 as reimbursement for the secretary fees + € 5,00 for the new Monterosa Ski keycard in caution.

In case of loss or thefts of several and consecutive days pass a copy of it will be released at our counters. Q. Can I go everywhere with a daily ticket?

A. There are 3 different kind of daily ticket:

The daily Monterosa Ski pass allows to ski all over the ski area, including the ski area of Antagnod, Brusson and Gressoney-La-Trinité while it is not valid for skiing in Champorcher;

The Beginner pass which is valid: in Champoluc for 1 return on the gondola Champoluc-Crest + daily access to the 2 tapis roulant Fontaney; in Frachey for 1 return on the funicular to Ciarcerio + daily access to the tapis roulant;

The Beginner Plus which is available in Champoluc and gives the daily access to the gondola Champoluc-Crest + 2 tapis roulant Fontaney + the gondola Crest-Ostafa.

Q. Can I descend on slopes using a sledge or a bob?

A. Absolutely not!

In case of confiscation of Siski tickets (Aosta Valley seasonal, several days and teleskipass) the entire dossier will be handled by the Siski.

Q. If I buy a Weissmaten daily pass can I buy the integration for skiing in Stafal?

A. No, it doesn’t exist and integration ticket.

Q. Can I enter the snow park with the daily/weekly Weissmatten pass?

A. No, it is not possible. You can enter the snow park with the seasonal Weissmatten pass only. It is not possible to enter it with the seasonal Monterosa Ski or Aosta Valley pass.

Q. Is the ski pass included in the ski school rate?

A. No, you must buy your ski pass apart.

Q. Is the seasonal pass valid for the night openings?

A. No, it is necessary to buy a ticket for the night openings.

Q. How does the points card works?

A. It is a ski pass “per ride”. Any time you use the lifts the related points are deducted (7 if you use the ski lift and 14 if you use the chair lift). It is possible to recharge the card even if the points are not used up. The points are valid until the end of the season. Any refund for the not used points is foreseen, but since it is a bearer ski pass it can be used by more than one person.

Q. From when does the 3 hours start?

A. The 3 hours start at the first access to the turnstile and not from the moment of the purchase.

Q. Are there any reductions for the 3-hour ski pass?

A. No, there are no reductions applicable to the 3-hour ski pass.
